When it comes to pain, and pain management there are some things you need to know before you can choose the right pain management solution. I realise this isn’t the answer you’re looking for, but unless we know what sort of pain you’re experiencing we don’t know if it can respond to the suggested treatments.

There are two main types of pain

  • Nociceptive pain
  • Neuropathic pain

Nociceptive pain is the usually described as “Sharp, aching or throbbing pain”. If you have this type of pain, then nociceptive pain is what it’s known as.  Nociceptive pain can be caused by things like

  • Arthritis
  • Back Pain
  • Fatigue Conditions
  • Surgical pain
  • Migraines
  • IBS
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Joint Pain

Neuropathic pain is a different sensation. This is often described as a burning, heavy sensation and sometimes numbness is a part of this pain. Neuropathic pain can be caused by

  • Sciatica
  • Crohns
  • Trapped Nerves
  • Accident damage
  • Ongoing degenerative disorders
  • Pains in the back, leg, hip, arm, wrist, hands, ankles, feet, neck shoulders
  • Old injuries
  • ME
  • CFS
  • Allergies

These two types of pain can be confusing, as they often co-exist and the pain you’re feeling may be both heavy and stabbing. This means your pain management solution might not work because you’re targeting the wrong thing. The other reason your pain may not leave after treatment is that your pain is serving you somehow emotionally.

This is not your fault.

In childhood, we learn many coping mechanisms, and these help us get through life and survive it. However, sometimes we have a habit that we should’ve left in childhood. Unfortunately, adulthood is not like the customs area of an airport. You don’t transition from childhood by unpacking all your luggage in front of a customs officer and they say what you can or can’t bring into adulthood. You bring everything with you. Your brain wants you to be prepared for anything and everything, so it packs everything from childhood and brings it into adulthood, and nothing and no one will stop it – because that’s what it does.

Your old pain is still serving you

Now the thing with old pain, and hanging on to it, is that unpacking all of the old pain is an unpleasant experience. And I totally understand why you may not want to face it. Sometimes you have things buried so deep that you fear that if you confronted it you would unravel. So, pain is not easy to treat and an aspirin isn’t always the answer and saying “let it go” or “get over it” hasn’t worked so far, and it’s unlikely to work in the future. In fact, pain can be a constant and miserable companion that is hard to persuade to leave your side. Especially as you want to keep your old, faithful but hurtful friend.

The Best Pain Management Solution

Hypnotherapy is one of the best pain management solutions available, and this can help you with the pain that helps you cling to things like smoking and overeating.

When it comes to a pain management solution for emotional issues, OldPain2Go is one of the best treatments. As an OldPain2Go practitioner, I can tell you that in terms of treatment it’s non-invasive and can significantly reduce your pain. If you are carrying an emotional pain, then this can be completely reduced. This is a natural healing solution, there are no pills or potions to take and you’ll find at the end of a session that you feel stronger and less “heavy” from the pain you’re carrying around with you.

In 100% of my cases so far, this pain management solution has reduced pain significantly. This means that you should book in a call to talk about your pain management issues and see if this is the best pain management solution for you.

All pain is different for the person experiencing it. You’ll like that when you work with me you’re treated as the unique human being that you are. You will find the pain management solution is delivered relatively quickly.

The longest session has been 2 hours and the shortest is just 30 minutes. Let’s assume for a moment that you’re average (I know you’re an extraordinary human being but let’s imagine average for the purposes of the post), this means you could transform your life in 60 minutes or less.

You’ve probably spent longer in traffic jams, stuck on the M25 or trying to get through to a person when you’re on the line to a call centre. You will regularly lose 60 mins to things that aren’t very important at all. So you can easily spend 60 minutes with me to help manage your pain, and often lose it entirely.

If this sounds like something you would like to talk about, then please book in a discovery call
