Inclusive and ethical practice
My approach to an inclusive and ethical practice
You are welcome here, exactly as you are.
Whoever you are, wherever you’ve come from, and whatever you’ve been told about yourself — you deserve a space that feels genuinely safe, respectful, and free of judgement.
I believe that lasting change is possible for every single person — not just those whose lives fit a certain mould. That’s why equality, diversity, and inclusion aren’t an afterthought in my practice. They’re woven into everything I do.
Whether you’re navigating questions of identity, carrying the weight of discrimination, or simply arriving with a story that feels complicated — you are not a problem to be solved. You’re a person who deserves to be heard, seen, and supported.
Gender, sexuality & relationship diversity
If your gender, sexuality, or the way you build relationships sits outside what’s often called “the norm,” you may well have experienced a lifetime of feeling different — sometimes painfully so. That experience often sits right at the heart of self-worth, identity, and belonging.
I work in an affirmative, not a neutral, way. That means I don’t treat your identity as something to be explored or questioned — I accept it. Our work focuses on what you want to change, heal, or discover about yourself, not on who you are.
Race, culture & heritage
Your cultural identity — the heritage you’ve inherited, the community that shaped you, the world you’ve navigated — is part of you. It influences how you experience yourself, your relationships, and sometimes the very struggles that brought you here.
I’m committed to developing my cultural competence continuously, not just ticking a box. That means being curious, remaining humble, and always prioritising your experience and your voice. If systemic inequality, discrimination, or cultural conflict has played a role in your story, that matters here. It won’t be minimised or sidestepped.
What this means in practice
My commitment to inclusive practice isn’t just a set of principles I’ve read about. It’s something I actively reflect on and continue to develop. Here’s how that shows up in our work together.
A non-judgemental space. You will not be assessed, categorised, or compared. My role is to support you — not to decide who you should be.
Trauma-informed. I will not ‘other’ you, discount or minimise your experiences. I will create a safe environment for you to process trauma.
Culturally aware practice. I recognise that your background, heritage, and culture shape your experience. I’ll follow your lead and never assume. I’ll respect you and aim to understand you in your social context.
Gender, Sexuality, and Relationship Diversity (GSRD) affirmative approach. I work affirmatively with people of all genders, sexualities, and relationship styles — without making any of these the “problem.”
Accessibility and flexibility. Sessions are available online or in person, with flexibility around timing and format wherever I’m able to offer it.
Accessibility
Accessibility
Practical accessibility matters too. If you have specific needs around how we communicate, where we meet, or how sessions are structured, please do get in touch. I’ll always do my best to work with you, not around you.
Online sessions
Available via video call — no travel required. Suitable for those with mobility needs, chronic illness, or who feel more comfortable at home.
Flexible scheduling
I understand life doesn’t always fit a 9–5. Where I can, I offer flexibility around appointment times.
Clear communication
Neurodivergent clients are always welcome. I aim to communicate clearly and will adapt my style to what works best for you.
Fee conversations
If cost is a barrier, please reach out. I have a limited number of reduced-fee spaces and I’m always happy to have an honest conversation..
“Belonging starts with feeling safe enough to arrive as you truly are. That’s what I’m here to help create.”
If you have any questions about how I work, or want to check whether I’m the right fit before booking, please feel free to get in touch. There’s no pressure and no commitment required — just a conversation.

What benefit will I get from ADHD coaching?
The likelyhood is that if you are even reading this part of this page, there have been times in your life where you have struggled to fit in, understand yourself and accept yourself. You have probably wondered why everything things harder for you than it seems to be for others. Now that ADHD is more mainstream you are hearing about aspects of it that relate to you or maybe you’ve been disagnosed and have some feelings to deal with about that. This programme uses my core principals of self awareness, self compassion, self expression, self identity and self acceptance but specifically tailored to the ADHD woman.
** short version of benefits. Understand yourself better and create strategies that help you live your life better, work better, parent better and have better relationships with others and yourself!
