Stop Smoking the Easyway with Hypnosis
Do you need help to quit smoking?
Giving up smoking is one of the best things you can do to dramatically improve your health and life expectancy. Smoking is the biggest cause of preventable deaths in England. By giving up you will be improving your own health and wellbeing, you’ll also give your family peace of mind in the knowledge you’re doing everything you can to be with them for as long as possible.
The benefits of giving up smoking are endless, from better breathing, to saving on average £1,696 per year. If you’ve ever suffered a heart attack, quitting smoking can reduce your chances of having another one by up to 50%.
How is Hypnotherapy so effective for giving up smoking?
There are dozens of methods to stop smoking, including patches, gum or prescribed drugs. The effectiveness of these methods is varied, but many people struggle as they don’t help you at an unconscious level. Hypnotherapy works with the greater part of your mind, the unconscious mind..
By working with the unconscious, your desire to smoke is removed and your determination to stay a non-smoker is enhanced.
What is the process to stop smoking with Hypnosis?
You don’t need to struggle or feel like a failure for not being able to give up smoking on your own. It can be difficult without help and support.
You’ve probably been thinking about giving up or been trying to give up for some time, haven’t you? You’ve thought about all kinds of ways you might deal with it and maybe tried a few of them. But for one reason or another you haven’t cracked it yet. Maybe you just need to try something quick and powerful to stop for good.
Well you really can be free of cigarettes, free of nicotine and free of a habit that controls you. And feel how good it feels to take nice deep breaths which will give you far more satisfaction than smoking ever could.
I’ve trained in Harley Street techniques, which I have further developed into a really effective treatment to help you stop smoking in just 2 hours. I will speak to you on the phone before your session and answer any questions that you may have. This is an important part of the process.
In your session we will talk about why and when you smoke and then I will use Hypnosis and other techniques that are right for you.
How you can prepare for your stop smoking Hypnotherapy session
It can really help to prepare for something. Preparation makes you feel in control, organised and ready for the event.
Here are some ideas of how you can prepare to give up smoking before your session:
- Try smoking with your other hand. This will make you think more about your smoking habit and take it less for granted.
- Try smoking in a different place to your usual place
- Tell everyone you are giving up once you’ve booked your Hypnotherapy appointment. Get support from people and make it official
- Try doing something you associate with smoking without smoking. Get used to life without the habit.
- Try saying in your mind and out loud ‘I am a non-smoker’. Get used to it and start believing it!
- Visualise how your life will be better as a non-smoker
- Make a note of all the places you can go and things you can do without worrying about having to smoke
Do you feel like smoking helps you manage stress?
You might feel like smoking helps you deal with stress. In fact the opposite is true. The chemicals in cigarettes are in no way helpful to your body.
There are over two thousand chemical compounds in cigarette smoke. Around thirty of those chemicals are known carcinogens and many are lethal poisons. Once inhaled, about 70 per cent of the tar in the smoke is deposited into your lungs.
Nicotine is a recognised vaso-constrictor, it causes the arteries to contract. The heart has to work harder to pump the blood around the body. If you smokes 20 cigarettes a day, then your heart will beat an extra ten thousand beats in 24 hours.
How will it feel when you have given up smoking with Hypnotherapy?
Once you’ve quit smoking with Hypnotherapy, you will be so in control with no or little desire to smoke, it might actually feel quite easy.
Once the nicotine leaves your body it’s the habit that remains and that’s the bit some people find challenging. What to do with your hands, or what to do instead of smoking and you might be worried about putting on weight. I address all of this with the treatment that I offer and provide a maintenance plan so you don’t need to worry, everything is covered.
No doubt one of your greatest and strongest desires is to have good health and renewed vitality. You know that your heart and lungs are the main parts of your body that sustain your health and energy. So as a non-smoker you respect and care for your heart and lungs. As a non-smoker, you are choosing health over sickness, strength over weakness and possibly life over death.
Giving up smoking is an accomplishment. Hypnotherapy really is the easiest and most effective way to stop.
